Amy Couture

Amy Couture is a Principal at Berkshire Partners and an integral member of the Stockbridge investment team based in Cambridge, MA. In her current role, she focuses on private equity investments, with an emphasis on identifying, evaluating, and managing investment opportunities across diverse sectors; Stockbridge's portfolio is known to cover a range of industries, including consumer, business services, healthcare, and industrials.

Prior to joining Berkshire Partners and Stockbridge in 2022, Amy developed significant investment acumen as an Associate and Analyst at Bain Capital Credit, where she evaluated credit and private equity investments from 2014 to 2018. Her progression from analyst to principal highlights her expertise in financial analysis, transaction execution, and portfolio management across both equity and credit asset classes.

Amy holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, underscoring her multidisciplinary approach to investment and risk analysis. In addition, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Dartmouth College, bringing a rigorous quantitative background to her investment practice. Her blend of legal, policy, and engineering expertise positions her as a versatile investor with a record of contributing to high-value transactions and strategic firm initiatives.
