Mark Moore is the Managing Partner, Chief Investment Officer, and Founder of Thorntree Capital Partners LP, a Boston-based hedge fund focused on fundamental long-short public equity investing. Moore leads the firm's concentrated global investment strategy, targeting sectors undergoing significant structural and technological transformation, notably areas influenced by shifting consumer trends and competitive dynamics.

With over 22 years of investment experience, Mark Moore previously served as Senior Partner at Bain Capital Public Equity, where he led portfolios in consumer, technology, and emerging markets, including Asia, Western Europe, and Latin America. Earlier in his career, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and spent time as an entrepreneur. Moore’s investment expertise encompasses equity markets globally, with a particular focus on long-short strategies and stock-specific return generation.

Mark Moore holds an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School and a degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan. He has contributed to industry thought leadership as a board member for organizations including the National Geographic Society and several companies in Asia and Brazil.
