Joseph Kelley

Joseph Kelley is a Portfolio Manager at Acropolis Investment Management, LLC, based in Chesterfield, MO, where he has served since 2008. In this role, he is responsible for the execution of investment strategies, client reporting, and serving as a primary client contact, leveraging both his deep experience and attention to each client’s unique investment needs.

Kelley specializes in managing portfolios for banking institutions, non-profits, endowments, labor organizations, pension and profit-sharing plans, and insurance companies, with a particular expertise in fixed income and equity asset classes. His work encompasses asset allocation, security selection, and portfolio construction, including participation in Asset-Liability Committees and the development of investment policies within highly regulated environments.

Prior to joining Acropolis, Kelley had a distinguished 35-year career in commercial banking, where he was involved in developing and managing portfolios for institutional clients. He holds a B.S.B.A. degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, underpinning his expertise in institutional investment management and client-focused portfolio solutions.
