Zachary Smith

Zachary Q. Smith, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Altrius Capital Management, based in New York, NY. He leads the firm's Unconstrained Fixed Income strategy and serves as a member of the Investment Committee, where he oversees fundamental research, security analysis, and portfolio monitoring across client mandates.

In his role, Mr. Smith specializes in managing U.S. dollar-denominated investment grade and high yield corporate bonds, employing both top-down and bottom-up processes to optimize yield curve positioning, sector rotation, duration management, and credit risk within fixed income portfolios. Mr. Smith joined Altrius in 2011. He holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from American University.
