Ray Cheesman

Ray Cheesman is a Senior Research Analyst and member of the Investment Committee at Anfield Capital Management, LLC, based in Edwards, CO. At Anfield Capital, he specializes in high yield research and oversees analysis and monitoring of the firm's investment portfolio, with a key focus on fixed income strategies, particularly high yield debt and credit sectors. Mr. Cheesman has over 40 years of investment management experience, including 17 years at Jefferies & Company as both an investment banker and high yield analyst, concluding as Managing Director responsible for client relationships leading to over $30 billion in capital markets, M&A, advisory, and restructuring transactions. Prior roles include Managing Director of High Yield Research at Bear Stearns, where he was elected to the Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team, and Senior Vice President at Salomon Asset Management, focusing on high yield bond investment for major pension funds.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The George Washington University, underpinning his expertise in credit analysis, capital markets, and fixed income investing. Mr. Cheesman has also contributed to the broader investment industry through board service, including as an Independent Director at Concrete Pumping Holdings, Inc.
