Danny Mack

Danny Mack is Chief Operating Officer and Portfolio Manager at Core Alternative Capital LLC, an independent investment advisory firm headquartered in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. In his current role, Mack oversees the firm’s alternative investment strategies and is responsible for portfolio management, investment process leadership, and operational oversight. He focuses on a diverse set of asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real assets, structured products, tactical trading strategies, and volatility management.

Prior to joining Core Alternative Capital, Mack served as the lead portfolio manager for a $1.5 billion registered investment advisor, where he specialized in alternative investments and helped drive the firm’s growth through substantial assets under management. He has also managed CAC strategies at a $1 billion asset manager and previously worked as a portfolio manager and senior analyst at a boutique asset management firm, contributing to its expansion from $700 million to nearly $7 billion in six years.

Mack holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. His expertise encompasses multi-asset portfolio construction, tactical and volatility strategies, and alternatives selection, establishing him as a recognized professional in the field of alternative investments in the Atlanta market.
