Denis Clohisy

Denis Clohisy is a Senior Research Analyst at Spyglass Capital Management LLC, an independently owned institutional investment boutique based in San Francisco, California. In this role, Denis is responsible for conducting original fundamental research and idea generation for the firm's concentrated portfolio, focusing on high-conviction investment opportunities within fast-growing, small- and mid-cap companies. His key sectors of coverage include companies operating at the forefront of secular megatrends, such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, genomics, digitization, robotics, automation, and the transition to electric and autonomous transportation, in line with Spyglass's growth-oriented investment strategy.

Prior to joining Spyglass in 2017, Denis worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Cowen & Company in the Healthcare Group, where he gained direct experience in corporate transactions and financial modeling in the healthcare sector. He has also interned at Ikarian Capital, a biotech-focused hedge fund, and Arbela Partners, a private equity search fund, further broadening his expertise in life sciences, biotechnology, and private investments.

Denis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University – Cox School of Business. His analytical background and focus on transformative companies position him as a key contributor to Spyglass's investment process, which emphasizes original research, ESG integration, and identifying innovative businesses driving secular change.
