Jefferson Weston

Jefferson B. Weston IV is the Senior Portfolio Manager for Real Estate and Real Assets at the Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, he oversees a multi-billion dollar portfolio focused on real estate and infrastructure investments, providing strategic direction and due diligence for both direct property holdings and external fund commitments. His expertise covers sectors such as value-add, opportunistic, and core real estate, as well as broader real assets including infrastructure and natural resources.

Weston joined PSPRS as a Senior Investment Analyst in 2019 and advanced to his current senior role in 2021, where he manages allocations, risk, and performance across diverse real asset classes. He also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board at Institutional Real Estate, Inc., where he contributes industry insights and best practices (from 2025). His career highlights include substantial capital commitments with leading real estate fund managers and guiding PSPRS’s investments in both U.S. and international real estate opportunities.

He holds an International MBA in Finance & Business from IE Business School and a BS in Finance & Economics from Grand Canyon University.
