Rob Koehn

Rob Koehn is the founder and Managing Member of Ivy Lane Capital Management, LLC, based in Winter Park, FL. In this capacity, he leads the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio construction, and risk management, focusing on value-oriented equity and event-driven special situations across public and private markets. Koehn oversees investments spanning complex and contrarian opportunities, including spin-offs, recapitalizations, tender offers, and hidden asset realizations, with a notable track record in fundamental analysis and portfolio concentration.

Koehn’s career spans senior investment roles, including Managing Director at Trivest Partners LP, where he managed two private equity funds, and earlier experience at Redan Capital Management and First Union Capital Markets Corp as an Associate. He has also served as a Director at Brown Jordan, Inc., broadening his insight into consumer durables and private middle-market transactions.

He holds an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Koehn has been a speaker at leading industry conferences, such as the Wharton and Kellogg Private Equity Conferences, and is recognized for his expertise in value investing, special situations, and portfolio risk management. He is actively involved in the investment community and has contributed as a coach and mentor in youth development programs.
