Jeff T. Green

Jeff T. Green is the co-founder and driving force behind The Trade Desk, having assumed the roles of President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman in November 2009. He has led the company’s strategic direction, contributing to its growth and establishing it as a major player in the ad tech industry.

Before his success at TTD, he founded AdECN in May 2004, the world’s first online advertising exchange, and served as the Chief Operating Officer until October 2009. Under his leadership, AdECN innovated in digital advertising by developing new strategies, products, and business development initiatives until its acquisition by Microsoft in 2007, after which he continued to oversee its exchange business and partner operations.

Beyond his executive roles, he has also played a significant part in shaping industry standards. He contributed to the development of the Networks and Exchanges Quality Assurance Guidelines for the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) from 2011 to 2012, steering working groups that established best practices for digital ad inventory and data transaction protocols.
