Will Averill

Will Averill is Managing Director and Head of Distribution at Aristotle Capital Management, LLC, based in Boston, Massachusetts. In his current role since 2015, he leads the firm’s institutional services and distribution strategy, working closely with major pension funds, institutional investors, and consultants to deliver equity and fixed income investment solutions. His responsibilities include overseeing business development across national public funds, endowments, and other institutional channels.

Averill’s career spans over 25 years in asset management, including previous roles as Vice President of Institutional Services at Loomis Sayles & Company, where he specialized in growing assets within the U.S. public funds sector, and Director of Institutional Equity at Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation, focusing on real estate private equity clients. He also held principal institutional sales positions at State Street Global Advisors and worked as a Global Trust Accountant at Mellon Bank, giving him broad expertise across public equities, private real estate, and global trust administration.

Averill holds an MBA from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Northeastern University. His notable achievements include building lasting institutional relationships and expanding access to equity and credit strategies for large public pension plans, endowments, and foundations through a consultative and client-focused approach.
