Jim Canty

Jim Canty was the President and a founding partner at Clough Capital Partners L.P., an investment management firm based in Boston, MA. He played a key leadership role at the firm from its inception in 1999/2000, being responsible for overall strategic direction and the management of both firm operations and client portfolios. As President, Canty also served as a portfolio manager and trustee, actively contributing to fund governance and investment decision-making processes, and was recognized as both Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel at various points in his tenure.

Clough Capital Partners, under Canty's direction as co-founder, was noted for its global and thematic investment strategies spanning multiple asset classes, with a particular focus on equities and hedge funds.
