Padraig Connolly

Padraig Connolly is Director, Strategic Partners at Diamond Hill Capital Management Inc., based in Santa Monica, California. In this role, he is responsible for cultivating and managing strategic institutional relationships, developing new business opportunities, and leading client engagement efforts with a focus on expanding the firm’s reach among large institutional investors and consultants. His remit includes oversight of relationship management for major national accounts and the fostering of long-term partnerships to support Diamond Hill’s product suite.

Connolly brings more than two decades of experience in asset management and institutional client services, including senior roles at Aletheia Research and Management Inc. as Senior Vice President Client Service, and at Bank of Ireland and Bank of Ireland Asset Management, where he established international operations and managed business development and sales. At Diamond Hill, he is principally engaged with U.S. institutional clients and consultant partners, supporting strategies across equities and fixed income, with a particular focus on large-cap and multi-sector investment solutions.

He holds a Master of Business Studies in International Business from University College Dublin and a BA in Economics & Finance from Maynooth University. In addition, Connolly is a CAIA charterholder, reflecting his expertise in alternative investments and institutional asset allocation. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for successfully building business lines and deepening strategic relationships across the asset management industry.
