Barry Henderson

Barry Henderson is a partner at Durable Capital Partners LP, a specialist investment firm co-founded by Henry Ellenbogen and focused on identifying small- and mid-cap compounders in both public and private markets. Based in the Washington DC-Baltimore area, Barry joined Durable at its inception in 2019 and plays a central role in investment selection and firm strategy, leveraging his extensive experience in equity analysis and portfolio management.

His primary focus areas include growth-oriented U.S. equities, particularly within small-cap and mid-cap growth sectors, drawing on his prior work managing and analyzing retail, consumer, and technology companies. During his tenure at T. Rowe Price, Barry served as Associate Portfolio Manager for the U.S. Small-Cap Growth Equity Strategy and sat on investment committees covering large-cap growth and innovative growth mandates. Earlier in his career, he specialized in retail and consumer investments at Soros Fund Management, and also worked as a financial journalist for Barron's and Dow Jones Newswires.

Barry's educational credentials include an MBA from Columbia Business School, a master’s in journalism from the University of Missouri, and a bachelor’s in international relations from Pomona College.
