Henry Ellenbogen

Henry Ellenbogen is the founder, managing partner, and chief investment officer of Durable Capital Partners LP, a leading investment firm based in Chevy Chase, Maryland. At Durable, he is responsible for overseeing investment strategy, asset allocation, and the firm's focus on long-term, fundamental growth investing. The firm manages over $13 billion in assets, targeting investments across both private and public early-stage, small-, and mid-cap companies.

Ellenbogen specializes in growth-oriented investments with a particular emphasis on the consumer discretionary, health care, and technology sectors. He is known for identifying and backing innovative companies in these industries, with investment picks including Atlassian, Coupang, DoorDash, and Duolingo, among others. His strategy often involves partnering with disruptive businesses in both the fintech and broader technology landscape, as demonstrated by Durable's lead investments in companies such as Facet Wealth.

Before founding Durable Capital Partners in 2019, Henry Ellenbogen was a vice president and portfolio manager at T. Rowe Price, where he earned recognition as a top growth-stock investor. He holds a bachelor's degree magna cum laude in history and science from Harvard College, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and an MBA (Baker Scholar) from Harvard Business School.
