Tom Wills

Tom Wills is Portfolio Manager and Analyst for Asia at Martin Currie, a specialist investment management firm based in Edinburgh. In this role, he is responsible for managing and analyzing Asian equity portfolios, with a focus on long-term, unconstrained investment strategies targeting high-quality companies throughout the region. His expertise extends to sectors such as technology, consumer platforms, and manufacturing, and includes coverage of notable companies like Alibaba, Samsung Electronics, TSMC, and Hero Motocorp, reflecting an emphasis on transformative and socially impactful businesses within Asia.

Prior to his current post, Tom held multiple roles at Martin Currie, including Compliance Analyst and Operations Manager for the Asia Business Platform, which gave him insight into regulatory and operational aspects of asset management. This breadth of experience underpins his holistic approach to portfolio stewardship and risk assessment.

Tom’s educational background includes a degree from ICAS and a Bachelor's in Criminology from The University of Sheffield, supporting his analytical rigor and understanding of governance issues. He holds the CFA designation, demonstrating his commitment to the highest professional standards.
