Richard Alpert

Richard Alpert is the Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Raub Brock Capital Management, LP, based in Larkspur, California. In his role, he manages the firm’s operations, oversees client relationships with individuals, families, and institutional clients, and sets the firm’s investment strategy, chairing the weekly investment committee meetings.

His primary focus is on the Dividend Growth Portfolio, targeting U.S. large-cap equities with a disciplined emphasis on dividend growth and quality companies. Under his stewardship, the firm's investment philosophy centers on identifying established, financially robust businesses within large-cap sectors that demonstrate consistent dividend growth potential.

Mr. Alpert has been an Investment Adviser Representative since 2001 and has extensive experience providing investment and wealth management services. He holds a B.A. in political science and economics from Colorado College and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. In addition to his investment career, he is recognized for summiting Mount Everest via the North Ridge as the youngest American to do so in 1998.
