Pat Pierce

Pat Pierce is Co-Portfolio Manager at MIG Capital LLC, where he has served since 2022, overseeing portfolio construction and conducting fundamental investment research. At MIG Capital, Pat focuses on equity investments with a research-driven approach, leveraging experience gained from prior roles at leading investment firms.

Before joining MIG Capital, Pat was an Analyst and Co-Portfolio Manager at Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb, manager of the Sequoia Fund (2017-2022), and previously a Senior Investment Associate at FPR Partners, a long-biased equity fund (2014-2016). In these positions, he specialized in public equities across diverse sectors, with significant involvement in deep fundamental analysis and stock selection for concentrated portfolios.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs and Sociology from the University of Illinois at Springfield, as well as an Associate's degree in Anthropology and Sociology from McHenry County College. His expertise lies in fundamental equity research and portfolio management, with a track record of contributing to notable investment teams focused on long-term, high-conviction investments.
