Jonathan Roberts

Jonathan Roberts is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Klingenstein Fields Advisors in New York, responsible for managing investment portfolios and developing strategic and tactical asset allocation for high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. He is actively involved in investment policy, security selection, and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, playing a leadership role in client advisory and the formulation of investment strategy.

Roberts specializes in equity and fixed-income investments, with significant expertise in portfolio management, investment policy development, security selection, and analysis for both traditional asset classes and alternative investments. His focus includes US and international equities and corporate and municipal fixed-income securities, serving clients with complex legacy, charitable, and intergenerational wealth objectives.

With an MBA in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern, an AB in Psychology from Brown University, and a degree from Phillips Exeter Academy, Roberts also holds the CFA and CIC designations. Before joining Klingenstein Fields, he held senior positions at First Republic Investment Management, Lazard Freres Asset Management, and Wertheim Schroder & Co., demonstrating a legacy of excellence and deep professional involvement, including committee work with the CFA Society New York.
