Aaron Balsam

Aaron Balsam, CFA, CAIA, is Senior Portfolio Manager and Principal at Stairway Partners, LLC, based in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, he is responsible for investment strategy, portfolio management, and trading, helping clients navigate complex markets and design optimal investment solutions. He focuses on multi-asset portfolios, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments, leveraging his expertise in asset allocation for institutional and high-net-worth clients.

Prior to joining Stairway Partners, Aaron served as Senior Managing Analyst for Dynamic Allocation Strategies at William Blair and Company and previously as Portfolio Manager and Asset Allocation Analyst in Global Investment Solutions at UBS Global Asset Management. His career spans over two decades, during which he contributed to the development and execution of global investment strategies and asset allocation frameworks across diverse sectors and geographies.

Aaron holds an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from North Park University. He is recognized for his thought leadership in asset allocation and investment strategy, and holds both CFA and CAIA charterholder designations, highlighting his commitment to excellence in the fields of finance and alternative investments.
