Brad Cohen is Chief Equity Strategist, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Partner at North Star Investment Management in Highland Park, Illinois. He has over 28 years of financial industry experience and leads portfolio management for the North Star Opportunity Fund and North Star Bond Fund, advising individual clients as part of the leadership team. His responsibilities include overseeing active management strategies, particularly within small-cap equities and fixed income portfolios.

Prior to joining North Star in 2006, Brad spent thirteen years as a member, specialist, and trader on the Chicago Stock Exchange, building extensive expertise in equity markets and trading. His investment approach is rooted in rigorous security selection and market research, with a focus on small-cap stocks, diversified fixed income, and actively managed strategies for client portfolios.

Brad graduated from the University of Maryland and holds a Juris Doctor from Marquette Law School. His experience and analytical rigor have contributed to North Star's reputation for active small-cap investment strategies and thoughtful bond fund management, guiding clients through complex market environments for nearly two decades.
