David Oh

David L. Oh is Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager/Analyst, and Head of Asia on the International equity team at TimesSquare Capital Management, LLC, based in New York. He is responsible for managing portfolios and leading research efforts focused on international equities, with a specialty in Developed, Emerging, and Frontier markets, and is notably recognized for overseeing small-cap strategies in these regions.

David’s investment expertise centers on Asia-Pacific equities, covering a diverse range of sectors and asset classes, especially small-cap stocks within emerging markets such as Taiwan. His approach relies on in-depth fundamental analysis to identify high-quality growth companies, blending perspectives from a global framework gained over two decades in the industry. Before joining TimesSquare in 2019, David was a Principal at Sustainable Growth Advisers and previously held senior roles at Alinda Capital Partners, Third Point, Sempra Energy Partners, and Credit Suisse First Boston.

He graduated cum laude from Yale University with a B.A. in History and East Asian Studies and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. David is fluent in Mandarin and conversant in Spanish, bringing valuable cross-cultural and regional expertise to international investing. His contributions include thought leadership on emerging market small caps and the development of institutional investment processes that incorporate rigorous financial analysis and engagement with company management.
