Joseph Loux

Joseph Loux is the Head Trader at Trillium Asset Management, based in Salem, MA. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the firm's trading operations and supporting the implementation of investment strategies across equity and fixed income portfolios, with an emphasis on integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors. He plays a key role in executing trades that align with Trillium’s focus on sustainable investments and shareholder advocacy initiatives.

Before assuming his current position, Joseph began his career in investment operations at Adams Harkness and later advanced to Portfolio Associate and Trading roles at Trillium Asset Management starting in 2013. His expertise encompasses public equities, sustainable and responsible investment products, and active portfolio management for a diverse client base that includes foundations, non-profits, and institutional investors. He also has experience working directly with retail clients from his previous tenure at Canaccord Genuity.

Joseph graduated magna cum laude with a BSBA in Finance from Salem State University in 2004. Throughout his career, he has contributed to advancing responsible investment practices at Trillium, supporting the firm's leadership in ESG integration and active engagement on issues such as climate risk and corporate governance within the public markets.
