Keerthi Raghavan

Keerthi Raghavan is Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Waterfall Asset Management LLC, based in New York, where he also serves as Head of ABS Strategy and sits on the Investment Committee. In this leadership role, Raghavan oversees all investment activities at the firm, directing strategy and execution across asset-backed finance markets and specialty credit opportunities, including both public and private investments in structured credit and asset-backed securities such as consumer loans, credit cards, and residential and commercial mortgages.

Raghavan’s investment expertise focuses on asset-backed securities (ABS), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), and whole loans, spanning more than 60 sectors in the asset-based finance arena. Prior to joining Waterfall in 2014, he was Director of CMBS Credit Trading and Head of CMBS Research at Barclays Investment Bank, where he led research and trading initiatives in the structured credit space.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics, Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. With over 16 years of industry experience, Raghavan is recognized for delivering tailored investment solutions and exceptional leadership in specialty finance, supporting Waterfall’s growth to $12.5 billion in assets under management.
