Shijing Liu

Shijing Liu is an Analyst at Waterfall Asset Management LLC, based in New York, NY. In this role, Liu is involved in research, analysis, and due diligence focused on structured credit and asset-backed securities, supporting the firm’s investment and risk management efforts within these core sectors.

Prior to joining Waterfall, Liu served as a Senior Analyst of Structured Products at Lincoln International, where he gained experience in structured finance and investment banking services. His earlier experience includes academic roles such as Graduate Teaching Assistant at New York University, contributing to his analytical and quantitative skillset.

Liu holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics from the University of California, San Diego. His expertise spans structured finance, quantitative analysis, and financial modeling, with a particular focus on asset-backed and structured credit products.
