John Scalia

John Scalia is a Par Loan Trader at Bardin Hill Investment Partners LP, where he is responsible for trading and managing par loans as part of the firm's credit-focused investment strategies. Bardin Hill specializes in sectors such as public and private credit, CLOs (collateralized loan obligations), and event-driven opportunities, reflecting Scalia’s core expertise in credit markets.

He joined Bardin Hill in 2015, progressing through roles from Senior Associate to Vice President and now Par Loan Trader, demonstrating deep proficiency in loan trading and credit analysis. Prior to Bardin Hill, John gained investment and audit experience at Goldman Sachs (Associate) and Deloitte (Senior Auditor), cementing a strong foundation in financial markets and risk assessment.

John holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Hofstra University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo, and attended the United States Military Academy at West Point.
