Mitch Nadel

Mitch (Mitchell) Nadel is a seasoned portfolio manager who most recently managed a $150 million portfolio at Cinctive Capital Management LP, focusing on macro trading strategies. At Cinctive, he was responsible for trading rates, foreign exchange, and equity indices across the US, European, and Japanese markets, and played a key role in launching a new macro fund within six weeks of joining the firm.

His expertise spans interest rates, futures, foreign exchange, and equity indices, with deep experience in both developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining Cinctive, Nadel served as Head of Americas Macro Trading for MUFG Securities, overseeing a team of 25 traders in New York and Toronto, and previously held senior roles at Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank.

Nadel holds a Bachelor of Science in finance and international business from Penn State University, with a minor in Japanese language and literature, reflecting his international focus and sector expertise. During his career, he has successfully managed risk through major events such as the 2008 financial crisis and has held leadership positions in macro, rates, and fixed income trading in both the US and Japan.
