Sean McSherry

Sean McSherry is the Head Trader at Commodore Capital, LP, a healthcare-focused investment firm based in New York City. In this role, he oversees all trading operations, specializing in small-cap public and late-stage private biopharmaceutical companies, and is responsible for implementing trading strategies that align with the firm's science-driven, long-term investment approach.

Before joining Commodore Capital in early 2023, Sean spent 12 years as an Equity Trader at HealthCor Management, L.P., where he developed deep expertise in healthcare sector trading with a focus on innovative medical and biotech companies. His earlier experience includes serving as a Retail Services Registered Representative at Neuberger Berman.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his commitment to sector-focused investing in healthcare, leveraging extensive market insight and operational leadership to advance investment outcomes in biotechnology and life sciences.
