Erik Mahland

Erik Mahland serves as Managing Director (Convertibles) at Glazer Capital, LLC in New York, where he leads the firm’s expansion into convertible arbitrage, a core component of Glazer Capital’s global investment strategy. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of strategies within the convertible securities market—a niche asset class involving both debt and equity conversion features—to identify mispricing opportunities and deliver risk-adjusted returns for investors. Previously at Palisade Capital Management, Mahland held the dual roles of Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, further deepening his expertise in convertible and alternative investments at a multi-strategy asset manager.

Mahland brings over two decades of investment experience, beginning his career as a trader at Tribeca Investments and spending more than 20 years at Soros Fund Management, where he progressed from analyst to portfolio manager specializing in convertible arbitrage. He is a CFA® charterholder, underscoring his strong foundation in quantitative and fundamental investment analysis. Mahland holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Franklin & Marshall College, further grounding his strategic decision-making in a rigorous business curriculum.
