Lauren Wolfe

Lauren Taylor Wolfe is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Impactive Capital LP, based in New York, NY. She leads a $3 billion active impact investing firm focused on helping companies allocate capital effectively and ethically to drive sustainable, profitable growth over the long term. Her work involves identifying high-quality businesses—often in sectors that are overlooked or undervalued—with the potential for transformational improvement, and then actively engaging with management to unlock value and promote responsible business practices.

Lauren specializes in investments across the technology, consumer, business services, healthcare, and industrial sectors, with a particular emphasis on small- and mid-cap public companies. She is recognized for her expertise in value-oriented activist investing and her long-term approach to portfolio management. Lauren is also active within corporate governance, having served on boards of companies such as HD Supply and Envestnet, and engages in industry initiatives promoting diversity and best practices in finance.

Before founding Impactive Capital in 2018, Lauren was Managing Director at Blue Harbour Group, where she led investments in targeted sectors for over a decade, and held earlier investment roles at SIAR Capital. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS magna cum laude from Cornell University. Her achievements include building impactful investment strategies, notably in small-cap value investing, and earning recognition for advancing the role of activist investing in responsible value creation.
