Jeritt Bushaw

Jeritt Bushaw, CFA, is a Managing Director of Investments at Lighthouse Investment Partners, based in Chicago, IL. In his current role, Jeritt identifies investment strategy opportunities and is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and monitoring external managers, with a primary focus on relative value strategies within hedge fund investments. He is a member of both the firm's Investment Research Committee and the Relative Value Committee, shaping portfolio allocations and manager selection for institutional clients.

Before joining Lighthouse in 2005, Jeritt was an investment analyst at Jeffrey Slocum & Associates, an institutional consulting firm, where he specialized in manager selection and asset allocation, supporting pension and endowment clients with both traditional and alternative investments. His expertise encompasses fixed income arbitrage, equity market-neutral, convertible arbitrage, and multi-strategy portfolios, with a particular emphasis on selecting and monitoring managers in these areas.

Jeritt holds an MBA in Analytic Finance and Economics with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northern Iowa, where he graduated summa cum laude and served as President of the Investment Club. As a CFA charterholder, he is recognized for his rigorous research and leadership in investment due diligence, contributing to best practices in portfolio construction and manager evaluation in the hedge fund industry.
