Michael Dealy

Michael Dealy is the Head of Trading at Newtyn Management in New York, where he oversees all trading operations and is responsible for developing and executing the firm's trading strategies. He plays a central role in risk management and trade implementation, focusing on optimizing trade execution across various asset classes.

At Newtyn Management, Dealy is involved in trading both equities and credit instruments, including event-driven investment opportunities in public markets. His expertise extends to distressed securities, special situations, and capital structure arbitrage, reflecting the firm's core investment strategies.

Before assuming the role of Head of Trading, Dealy held positions in operations and finance at Newtyn, including VP of Operations and Assistant Controller.
