Peter Wright

Peter A. Wright is the General Partner, Chief Investment Officer, and Senior Portfolio Manager at P.A.W. Capital Partners LP, as well as President of P.A.W. Capital Corp, both based in Greenwich, Connecticut. He founded P.A.W. Partners in December 1990 and oversees the management of their U.S. equities hedge fund, focusing on capital appreciation across public securities, including common stocks, preferred shares, convertible bonds, stock warrants, rights, and other debt instruments.

Mr. Wright specializes in equity investments with a particular emphasis on technology-related sectors, supported by his earlier career as Executive Vice President and Research Director at Gartner Group, where he analyzed a broad spectrum of technology companies. Under his leadership, P.A.W. Capital Partners has built significant concentrations in growth-oriented equities such as semiconductor and technology manufacturing companies, with Indie Semiconductor Inc. featuring as a major holding as of early 2024.

Wright's career spans over three decades in the securities industry, including prior roles as President and CEO of SoundView Financial Group and as a financial analyst at IBM. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Cornell University, grounding his expertise in both technical analysis and portfolio management, and is recognized for his extensive contributions to technology-focused investment strategies.
