Robert Cocuzzo is a Quantitative Trader at AlphaQuest (formerly Quest Partners), based in New York, NY. In his current role, he is responsible for developing and executing algorithmic trading strategies, primarily focused on liquid futures and foreign exchange (FX) markets, leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to systematically capture market inefficiencies. Prior to becoming a Quantitative Trader, Cocuzzo advanced through roles at AlphaQuest, starting as a Junior Quantitative Trader and earlier working in fund operations at Quest Partners LLC, where he gained deep operational experience supporting quantitative and trading teams. This progression provided him with solid foundations in risk management and the specifics of systematic investment strategies within the global macro and quantitative hedge fund space.

Cocuzzo holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Economics, and Global Business from the Fordham Gabelli School of Business and completed additional finance studies at Fordham University London Centre. His expertise spans quantitative modeling, algorithmic trading, and global macro asset allocation.
