Alexander Brown

Alexander Brown is a Portfolio Manager at Saba Capital Management, L.P., based in New York City. At Saba, he is responsible for overseeing portfolios and investment strategies, with a focus on credit markets and special situations, leveraging the firm’s expertise in closed-end funds and arbitrage opportunities. His role includes managing asset allocation and risk, identifying distressed investment opportunities, and employing sophisticated trading strategies to maximize returns.

Prior to joining Saba Capital Management in April 2023, Alexander served as Head of Research and Trading at A6 Capital Management, where he led research-driven trading across multiple asset classes, with particular emphasis on credit and distressed securities. Before that, he was Head of Corporate Credit - Distressed and Special Situations at LibreMax Capital, LLC, where he developed expertise in identifying and executing complex investments in distressed corporate debt and special situations across the credit spectrum.

Alexander earned his degree in Economics and Business from New York University and attended The Browning School. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for his deep knowledge of the credit and distressed asset sectors, contributing significantly to the investment industry's understanding of opportunistic trading and value recovery in special situations. His expertise allows him to manage sophisticated credit portfolios and deliver strong performance for investors.
