Yoon Kim

Yoon Kim is Managing Director at Tremblant Capital Group in New York, where he plays a senior leadership role overseeing key investment strategies. With over two decades at the firm since 2002, he has been instrumental in directing long/short equity investments, with a specific focus on the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors. His portfolio management expertise helped drive firm-wide performance and played a part in Tremblant’s growth from $200 million to $5 billion in assets under management.

Kim is recognized for generating significant returns in TMT, delivering over $767 million in profits during his tenure. His career began in M&A at Morgan Stanley and includes investment roles at Ziff Brothers Investments before joining Tremblant Capital. He later leveraged his investment experience to found Vestry Capital, further demonstrating his leadership in hedge fund innovation and advanced investment frameworks.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley.
