John Quan

John Quan is Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer at Aristotle Capital Management, based in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, he leads the firm's technology strategy, oversees cybersecurity initiatives, and directs IT infrastructure to support diverse investment operations across Aristotle and its affiliates, including Aristotle Capital Boston, LLC. His responsibilities encompass information security, technology innovation, and aligning technology resources with the firm's objectives in managing U.S., international, and global equity strategies as well as various fixed income products.

Prior to joining Aristotle in 2021, John Quan served as Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Manager at Western Asset Management, where he led large-scale information security and IT projects for over thirteen years. He has also held the role of Chief Information Officer at Indymac Bank and began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, building a foundation in strategic planning, product management, and cross-functional leadership within the investment management and financial sectors.

He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester and a BS in Biochemistry and Biology from the University of California, San Diego. Quan is recognized for his expertise in technology strategy, cybersecurity, and operational resilience, contributing to the secure, effective management of asset classes including equities and fixed income for Aristotle’s institutional and advisory clients.
