Rusty Woodward serves as Chief Investment Officer at Asset Advisors in Augusta, GA, where he oversees the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio management for affluent individuals and institutional clients. He is recognized for his analytical expertise and leadership in designing and implementing asset allocation and risk management frameworks tailored to client needs.

His investment focus spans public equities, fixed income, and alternative investments, leveraging his CFA® and CAIA® designations to deliver insights across traditional and alternative asset classes. Prior to joining Asset Advisors in 2023, Rusty held key roles as Director of Advisory Solutions at Sterling Capital Management and Corporate Portfolio Manager (Vice President) at BB&T, developing expertise in institutional portfolio management and advisory services. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics from The University of Georgia, and is recognized in the industry for his rigorous research, client-centric approach, and commitment to fiduciary excellence.
