Steven Marco

Steven S. Marco, CFA, is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Marco Investment Management LLC, headquartered in Atlanta, GA. He established the firm in 1998, following his tenure at NationsBank Investment Management, where he managed portfolios for high-net-worth and institutional clients and pioneered the bank's use of derivative contracts to hedge risk in concentrated equity positions. At Marco Investment Management, Steven leads the Investment Strategy Committee, oversees trading operations, and develops portfolio and derivative strategies for a diverse client base that includes individuals, families, institutions, and charitable organizations.

Steven's sector and asset class coverage includes common stocks, options, and fixed income securities such as agency, corporate, and municipal bonds, employing both technical and fundamental analysis approaches. He is recognized for navigating portfolios through varied economic cycles and for his expertise in the design and execution of hedging strategies using derivatives for taxable accounts.

Steven holds a BA in Economics and Political Science as well as an MBA from Emory University, and is a CFA charterholder and member of CFA Society Atlanta.
