Thad Davis

Thad Davis is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Portfolio Manager at Aureus Asset Management, LLC in Boston, MA. He joined Aureus at its founding in 2005 and serves as co-portfolio manager of the firm's Core Equity Strategy, overseeing investment portfolios and leading a team focused on tailored wealth management for high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional investors.

Davis specializes in U.S. large-cap and small-cap value equities, company valuation, and equity research, with deep expertise in core equity investment and wealth management strategies. Prior to Aureus, he held senior roles at Bear Stearns Asset Management, where he managed value equity portfolios, and at Putnam Investments as a portfolio analyst, providing him a broad foundation in both equity analysis and portfolio strategy.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College, an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Thad Davis is also recognized for his leadership, service on nonprofit finance and audit committees, and achievements in building and guiding teams dedicated to client-centered investment management in the asset management industry.
