Jake Borbidge

Jake Borbidge is the Chief Investment Officer at Avidian Wealth Solutions in Houston, TX, where he leads the firm’s portfolio management and investment strategy. In his role, Borbidge oversees asset allocation, investment research, portfolio construction, and works closely with both the financial planning and investment teams to deliver client-focused, innovative solutions. He brings a deep specialization in multi-asset portfolios, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), private market investments, and developing custom solutions for clients with complex financial needs.

Borbidge’s career includes nearly two decades at industry leaders such as Invesco Ltd., where he was instrumental in advocating for and building the Investment Solutions team and managing multi-asset ETFs. Notably, he led teams recognized with industry honors, including Forbes’ Best Overall ETF of the Year (2022), and secured institutional mandates such as the Rhode Island 529 plan, significantly growing assets under management. He currently also serves as an investment advisor at the Greater Houston Community Foundation, further highlighting his commitment to fiduciary excellence and the nonprofit sector.

Borbidge is a graduate of the University of Houston and the University of Houston, Bauer College of Business, as well as Lehigh University and the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh.
