Jim Atkinson

Jim Atkinson is the Managing Partner and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Avidian Wealth Solutions, based in Austin, Texas. In this leadership role, he oversees the firm's strategic growth through acquisitions, advisor recruitment, and operational excellence, focusing on delivering superior service for both clients and advisors within the wealth management industry.

Atkinson's expertise spans comprehensive wealth management, financial planning, and investment strategy, with a particular focus on advisor acquisition, portfolio construction using core/satellite approaches, and alternative investments such as private funds and managed accounts for affluent clients. He is deeply involved in integrating research-driven investment solutions across public equities, ETFs, individual bonds, and private market assets.

Prior to joining Avidian, Jim held executive roles as Vice President at Fidelity Investments and Executive Vice President at Linscomb & Williams, where he specialized in client experience and financial services operations.
