Cdfa® Rachel Rasmussen

Rachel Rasmussen, MBA, CFA, CDFA®, is an Investment Manager and Shareholder at Foster & Motley, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she plays a key role in portfolio management, client advisory, and research. Her work primarily focuses on comprehensive wealth management for individuals and families, with expertise in divorce financial planning and estate strategies, leveraging her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation. She also provides investment guidance across equity and fixed income asset classes, drawing on deep experience in security selection and portfolio construction.

Rachel began her finance career as an Investment Analyst at Covington & Associates, supporting portfolio managers with investment research and securities analysis. She has additional experience as a research assistant in finance and accounting at Seton Hall University, where she conducted academic research relevant to contemporary investment practices. Her early experience also includes an internship in wealth management at Merrill Lynch.

Rachel holds an MBA with honors in Finance from Seton Hall University, a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and French from Miami University, and a degree in French Studies from Université de Bourgogne. She earned the CFA® charter in 2017 and her CDFA® credential in 2021, has served as Chair for the Talbert House Foundation Board, and was included in the 2024 Forty Under 40 class for her contributions to investment management and client advocacy in the Cincinnati area.
