Jim Martin

Jim Martin is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Nordwand Capital, a Philadelphia-based multi-family office and investment firm managing approximately $5 billion in assets. In this role, he oversees a platform focused on delivering prudent, long-term investment strategies for ultra-high-net-worth families, with an emphasis on generational continuity, philanthropic objectives, and creative structuring across both public and private markets.

Under his leadership, Nordwand Capital facilitates direct co-investment opportunities through its independent entity, Nordwand Investments, which manages several listed and private funds as well as opportunistic Special Purpose Vehicles. Martin's investment approach spans multiple asset classes—including equities, private investments, and alternatives—serving clients who typically have more than $100 million in assets and require sophisticated wealth management solutions.

Previously, Martin served as Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management and Director at Credit Suisse, earning recognition from Barron's as a Top 100 Advisor in 2021 and 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Joseph's University and maintains Series 7 and 66 certifications, marking over three decades of expertise advising multi-generational families and institutional-caliber investors.
