Alexander Barenboim

Alexander Barenboim is a Client Portfolio Analyst at TIFF Investment Management, where he joined in 2023 as part of the firm’s Client CIO Group. In this role, he is responsible for managing deliverables for existing and potential clients, demonstrating TIFF’s investment capabilities, performing detailed financial analysis, evaluating portfolio drivers, supporting research efforts, and contributing to special projects. He works closely with both the Client Development team and the Client CIO Group to advance client relationships and prospecting initiatives.

His investment focus spans multi-asset portfolio strategies and institutional asset management, serving primarily nonprofit organizations. Alexander supports efforts in evaluating portfolio construction, performance analytics, risk drivers, and contributes to client-facing research within sectors relevant to nonprofit investment, including public and private markets, equities, and alternative investments managed by TIFF.

Prior to joining TIFF, Alexander gained industry experience as a Strategy and Finance Intern at Algorand, where he developed financial models and assessed strategic opportunities in fintech, and as a Sales Representative at NOCA Boozy Bevvies. He holds both a Bachelor’s in Finance and an MBA from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business, specializing in finance.
