Amish Desai

Amish Desai is the Portfolio Manager at Red Spruce Capital, LLC, an investment management firm based in Berwyn, PA that he founded in 2011. As PM, he oversees portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment strategy, managing more than $100 million in assets for a diverse client base, including individuals, businesses, partnerships, and trusts. His specific expertise spans long/short equity portfolios, proprietary trading strategies, and private equity deal analysis, reflecting a broad approach across equities, alternatives, and multi-strategy mandates.

Prior to launching Red Spruce Capital, Desai held roles as a Portfolio Manager at Susquehanna International Group and as an Equity Research Analyst at Gardner Lewis Asset Management, where he developed deep experience in institutional investing and equity research. He is recognized for his analytical acumen and for advising asset managers across strategy development and trading execution.

Desai earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Drexel University, with concentrations in Finance, International Business, and Economics. He is a member of Drexel University’s Board of Trustees and was honored as a Drexel Magazine '40 Under 40' for his leadership in finance and philanthropy.
