Andrew Giordano

Andrew Giordano is Executive Managing Director, Business Development and Client Relations at Sands Capital Management, LLC, based in Washington, DC. He leads the firm's business development initiatives and client relations, serving as the primary contact for partners and prospective engagements. His responsibilities include implementing Sands Capital’s client-first, white-glove service approach and providing strategic leadership across the firm.

Andrew specializes in public equity strategies and has a particular focus on innovative businesses across all stages of the growth spectrum, including sectors such as technology, healthcare, and sustainability. He has played a key role in expanding Sands Capital’s client base and deepening relationships with institutional investors and private clients.

Prior to joining Sands Capital in 2010, Andrew was a Vice President at FBR Capital Markets, where he supported equity clients and cultivated relationships with hedge funds and long-only firms. He holds dual MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School, and a BA in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College. Andrew is recognized for his expertise in client relations, business development, and his contributions to fostering a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture within the investment industry.
