John DeGulis

John P. DeGulis is President and Portfolio Manager at Sound Shore Management, Inc., a boutique institutional investment manager based in Greenwich, Connecticut. In this capacity, he leads the firm's investment strategy and portfolio management activities, specializing in a disciplined, contrarian value approach focused primarily on large-cap U.S. equities. He has served as a key member of the investment committee since joining the firm in 1996, currently working alongside other senior partners to oversee the Sound Shore Fund.

DeGulis' specific investment remit covers a broadly diversified set of sectors within the U.S. large-cap space, with a strong emphasis on identifying undervalued companies across industries through fundamental research.
