Byron Fields

Byron Fields is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Titleist Asset Management, based in Austin, Texas, where he serves as principal and chair of the investment committee. In this capacity, he oversees the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio management, and client advisory services, with a core focus on providing customized portfolio management to individuals and company retirement plans.

Mr. Fields specializes in a broad spectrum of asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, and alternative investments, delivering guidance to both retail and institutional investors. His expertise extends to portfolio construction, risk management, and educating clients about market mechanics and trading strategies, reflecting a commitment to both performance and investor education.

Before founding Titleist Asset Management in 2003, Fields served as a Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors and later managed trading operations at CyberTrader, where he also provided client education on investment strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated on a golf scholarship and earned notable academic honors. Mr. Fields' professional credentials include Series 7, 24, 27, and 66 securities licenses, underscoring his deep regulatory and practical expertise in the investment management industry.
