Colin Casey

Colin Casey is Principal and Portfolio Manager at Vulcan Value Partners, based in Birmingham, Alabama. In his current role, he is responsible for portfolio management and equity research across the firm's long-only value equity strategies, serving institutional and individual investors and managing assets in excess of $7 billion.

Colin joined Vulcan Value Partners in 2017 and advanced through various analytical and research roles before becoming a Principal and Portfolio Manager. His investment focus includes managing portfolios in the company's Small Cap strategy and conducting fundamental analysis on publicly traded equities across diverse industries, with an emphasis on identifying undervalued businesses using long-term value principles.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a Bachelor of Science in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Oxford. Prior to his investment career, Colin was a business teaching fellow at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology in Ghana, contributing to the development of emerging market entrepreneurs through lectures on financial modeling and competitive strategy.
